Reblog: Cities That Never Sleep

Random Banter

When I’m lucky enough to travel somewhere new, I forget that locals remain while I move on. At this very moment in time, people are living and breathing in all the cities I’ve visited, and the many more I haven’t. Tourists and locals are walking through the green parks of Madrid, along the white beaches of Nicaragua, and across the great grey bridges of London, while I type away in this small city where I live.

Millennium Bridge – London Officially known as the London Millennium Footbridge, crossing the River Thames in London, linking Bankside with the City of London. This bridge draws large crowds of locals & tourists alike. When originally opened it had too much sway and made people ill – they had to close it down & make some expensive adjustments. I just enjoy the people watching.

The Author

My name is Emily and this is a place where I write about all of the things I love (and sometimes the things I don't love). These things I love include all sorts of people: strangers, friends and family alike. And writing of course! I've never liked giving descriptions of myself, so you'll have to read my random banter in order to get to know me.
